The 3D Smile Studio
Dentistry is easier to understand when you can see it. Spin a real 3D dental arch, tap any tooth to learn about it, and drag a slider to see braces straighten a smile — all right here in your browser.
Tip: works best on a modern phone or computer. Everything below also reads perfectly without 3D.
Explore the Dental Arch
Drag to rotate the upper teeth. Tap any tooth to see what it does, what can go wrong, and how we treat it.

Select any tooth on the arch to see its details here.
Your teeth, and what each one does
Your upper arch has incisors (the flat front teeth that bite), canines (the pointed corner teeth that tear), premolars and molars (the broad back teeth that grind). Different teeth face different problems:
- Front teeth — chips, gaps and staining, helped by whitening and braces.
- Back teeth — deep cavities and cracks, treated with root canals and crowns.
- Wisdom molars — often impacted, needing extraction.
Watch Braces Straighten a Smile
Drag the slider from "Before" to "With braces" to see crowded, crooked teeth move into a straight, even arch.
How braces straighten teeth
Braces and clear aligners apply gentle, constant pressure that gradually moves crooked or crowded teeth into a straight, healthy arch over 12–24 months. The result is not just a better-looking smile — straight teeth are easier to clean and less prone to decay. Explore braces & aligners.
