Dental Crowns & Bridges in Dimapur

3 material options Natural look available 2–3 visits

Crowns & bridges are the fix for

A tooth after root canal treatment
A cracked or badly broken tooth
A large old filling that keeps failing
A discoloured or misshapen front tooth
A missing tooth between two healthy ones (bridge)
A worn-down bite

What happens, step by step

  1. Preparation

The tooth is shaped under local anaesthesia to make room for the crown.

  2. Impressions

Precise moulds are taken so your crown fits your bite exactly; a temporary crown protects the tooth meanwhile.

  3. Lab crafting

The crown is fabricated in your chosen material and shade.

  4. Fitting

The crown is checked for bite and colour, adjusted, and permanently cemented.

Aftercare

  • Avoid very sticky toffees on crowned teeth
  • Brush and floss the crown edge carefully — that's where decay tries
  • A slightly 'high' bite feel? Come in, one small adjustment fixes it
  • Crowns last 10–15+ years with good care

Common questions

Which crown material should I choose?

Back teeth that nobody sees: metal or PFM gives strength for less. Front teeth: zirconia looks indistinguishable from natural enamel. We advise per tooth, not per bill.

Is getting a crown painful?

No — preparation is done under anaesthesia, and fitting is painless. Some sensitivity between visits is normal with the temporary crown.

Bridge or implant for a missing tooth?

A bridge is faster and cheaper but involves shaping the neighbour teeth. An implant spares them and lasts longer. We'll explain both honestly for your case.

How long does the whole process take?

Usually 2–3 visits across one to two weeks, depending on the lab work and material chosen.
