Dental Questions, Answered Honestly
Visits & Booking
Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?
Walk-ins are welcome, but booking on WhatsApp (+91 70053 78195) guarantees your slot and avoids waiting. We keep same-day emergency slots for patients in pain.
What are your clinic timings?
We are open Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The clinic is closed on Sundays. For emergencies, message us on WhatsApp and we will guide you.
Where exactly is the clinic located?
We are on Jain Temple Road, near Ram Janki School, West Yard Colony, Marwari Patti, Dimapur, Nagaland 797112 — central Dimapur, easy to reach by auto or car. See directions.
How do I book on WhatsApp?
Tap any "Book on WhatsApp" button on this website, or message +91 70053 78195 directly with your name and preferred time. Our staff confirms your appointment within clinic hours.
Treatments & Pain
Is root canal treatment painful?
No — with modern anaesthesia most patients feel little to nothing during a root canal. Many of our RCTs finish in a single sitting, and mild soreness afterwards settles in a day or two.
Does teeth cleaning damage the enamel?
No. Professional scaling removes tartar that brushing cannot, using calibrated ultrasonic tips that are safe for enamel. Twice-yearly cleaning protects your gums and prevents tooth loss.
How long do braces take to work?
Most orthodontic treatments take 12–24 months depending on how much the teeth need to move. Our orthodontist Dr. Tisso gives you a realistic timeline at your first braces consultation.
What should I do about sudden tooth pain at night?
Rinse with warm salt water, take a paracetamol if needed, and avoid placing aspirin on the gum. Message us on WhatsApp — we keep same-day emergency slots and open at 9 AM.
Kids & Nervous Patients
At what age should my child first see a dentist?
By their first birthday, or within six months of the first tooth appearing. Early visits are short and friendly — they build comfort and catch problems while they are tiny. More on kids' dentistry.
Are baby teeth cavities worth treating?
Yes. Baby teeth hold space for adult teeth, and infected ones cause pain and spread decay. Small fillings now prevent bigger problems — and dental fear — later.
Do you treat nervous or first-time patients differently?
Gently. We explain every step before doing it, agree on a stop signal, and never rush. Tell us you're nervous when you book — many of our happiest reviews come from once-fearful patients.
